What it is
Gatera is a Madrid concierge. It writes a plan around who you travel with, how you eat, what time you dine, and the language you want to read. The cat and the door in the header are a placeholder mark, not a finished logo.
Who it is for
Travelers from the United States, Latin America, China, Japan or Korea who do not want a canned circuit. Also anyone staying in the centre who wants a real meal in Usera, Madrid's Chinatown.
How it works
- You describe the trip: dates, pace, food, the hotel neighbourhood, and what to avoid.
- Gatera writes the days in your language.
- You take it with you once the app is published. Today the site is the guide and the waiting list.
Artificial intelligence
Itineraries are drafted with the help of an artificial intelligence system. Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act asks that this be said plainly: a Gatera plan is AI-assisted content, not the voice of a staffer who walked through every door that morning. It is not a confirmed booking, medical advice, or an official timetable. Where a place is not yet checked, the guide marks it as not verified.
